GNA Board Meetings - Tuesday, September 07, 2010

The next Board of Directors' meeting for the GNA Futbol Club is October 17, 2010 at 7:30 PM at Quest Community Church. In an effort to make GNA more open and transparent to the families who support it, the Board has voted to make its regular monthly Board meetings open to parents (and legal guardians) of players in GNA. As with any organization the Board has created guidelines for attending meetings. If you are interested in attending a meeting, please review the following:

·        Any parent or legal guardian of a player within GNA is welcome to attend, provided they adhere to the visitation policies, procedures and guidelines.

·        Any visitor to the regular Board meeting shall sign-in with the Board Secretary providing their name, address and the gender and age-group in which their child (or children) participates.

·        Visitors to the regular Board meeting will NOT be permitted to participate in the meeting (discuss, talk or vote) unless they are on the agenda.

·        The Board (by majority vote) reserves the right to bar anyone from attending a Board meeting should they violate any of these visitation policies, procedures or guidelines.

Note that you, as a prospective visitor to the regular Board meeting, can apply to be placed on the agenda as follows:

·        At least seven calendar days prior to the regular Board meeting date, you should e-mail the Board President, Randy Maxwell at printmaxa1@aol.com, with a one-paragraph statement as to the issue you would like to have on the agenda.

·        The Board President will then distribute the statement to Board members via e-mail for consideration, discussion and vote. By majority vote, the Board can decide whether to:

o       Place the item on the agenda, in so doing allotting a time budget to the prospective visitor; or

o       Decline to have the issue placed on the agenda for whatever reason; or

o        Refer the matter to a Committee, the Executive Director or Director of Coaching.

·         Whatever the decision, the Board President shall then get back to you with the Board’s decision as soon as reasonably possible.
